Boat Rides
All that water, why not take a boat ride!
There have been a few changes to the pontoon boat cruises, as well as the Breathless Cruises. The Breathless, at $175, will still be available for private viewings of IllumiNations.
The Grand One yacht at Disney's Grand Floridian will still be available at $275 per hour for anytime that a guest wishes to reserve it.
The new cruises are called 'Specialty Cruises at Epcot or the Magic Kingdom,' and are still $120. They leave every two hours beginning at 12 Noon. Guests with a minimum of four members can have them catered with snacks and drinks, and those cruises will begin at $200. The cruises will be 45 minutes long and leave the various marinas at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 PM throughout the year at both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
Please call and confirm the day of your cruise, to find out exactly where the boat will pick you up, and at what time. 407-WDW-PLAY!
There is no guarantee that you will see Fireworks/Illuminations from the boat., if you request it, they will note your reservation but will not guarantee that you will actually see the fireworks or Illuminations.
Would you rather drive?
Rent a water sprite. These are small watercraft, you can have one or two per boat. With more than one it bogs down a bit, but still fun. Kids must be 12 to drive their own. Rates are about $20 per half hour. Many resorts rent them. Rumor is that the ones from the Grand Floridian are the fastest :) No reservations are needed, if all the boats are out, its just a short wait for one to return.
Pontoon boats are also available for rental at many of the harbors. Check with 407-WDW-PLAY for info and availability!
