Sat in the little 50's kitchenette/trailer type of area, was fun...waiter, Jamal was so naughty and funny. My kids, son age 7 and daughter age 9 (who Jamal teased endlessly) enjoyed it to no end. They had several tables of people in on water fights and teasing. You have to be ready for fun. But it may depend on the servers. The characters spent lots of time with the kids....if it hadn't been for this stop, the kids would not have seen Mickey in person... I won't spend an hour in a character line to meet Mickey, a waste of time. This was worth the money, and the food was good to boot! Flametree Counter Service

Comment : Flametree is a "fast food" service restaurant with the most mouthwatering BBQ you will ever have the pleasure to put in your mouth. The menu includes,BBQ pork,beef and chicken, served a variety of ways from sandwiches to ribs. I had the BBQ pork sandwich- it fairly melted in my mouth-price approx-$5.95. My husband had the BBQ platter which included beef and pork BBQ and BBQ chicken- a huge portion for around $8.95, he said it was great. My daughter, who does not like BBQ, got a PB&J sandwich with chips and a drink for about $4. It was perfect for her!  Seating is plentiful, but you may have to walk a little ways to get to it. If you are willing to walk, a perfect spot is down by the river under the canopy. It is well shaded, and has a beautiful view. Comment : Mostly BBQ here and it's quite tasty!  There's a great kids meal too, with a PB&J sandwich.  We chose to est here partly because after not seeing the sun for five wet and chilly days, it was finally sunny and 70!  There is expansive outdoor seating in several different areas, some covered and some not, either way it's a nice, relaxing place to enjoy a meal without having to pay the sit-down price! Comment : I want to say that I had heard some negative things about Rainforest Cafe - I completely enjoyed this restaurant and actually, this was my very favorite meal of our entire trip! First of all, make sure you have priority reservations. There were about 50 people in line as we walked up. We got there about 5 minutes before our PS time. We stood there maybe 3 minutes and they called us to sit down. We walked past all these people, as they glared at us! I would hate to wait in line for a long time to eat, so it is really worthwhile making the reservations. We got seated right by a huge elephant. It was perfectly still for a few minutes and then all of a sudden, as we were reading our menus, it raised up its trunk and scared us to death! It was funny. The atmosphere in this place is awesome. You really feel like you are in a rainforest, there are animals all over, birds up in the canope area, rainforest sounds all around, even thunderstorms and rain as you eat. (not on you, of course). Our waitress was wonderful. She gave us some great tips on how to order things differently than what was in the menu, made some great drink concoctions for us and checked on us regularly to make sure we were ok. MY son ordered this flatbread pizza thing. he did not like it. She came around to check on us and he told her that it was gross! I was embarrassed, but she took it all in stride. She said she would take it away and bring him something else. She asked what he really wanted, if he could have anything. He said Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She said she would go find one for him. And she did. Made him so happy! She did not charge us for his meal at all. I ordered this pasta dish that was so wonderful, it was a special way of ordering that she recommended, and I tell you - I wish I could duplicate it at home! We all really enjoyed this meal. Our waitress was very helpful is helping me decide what to order, and she was very efficient. This is a great place to go in the hottest time of the day- around 2:00 or 3:00. Tuskers

We ate at Tuskers because it was the only restaurant in the Animal Kingdom with a selection of food that didn't include the typical hamburger/chicken fingers, etc. It has salads, rotesserie chicken, chili, soup. The food was tasty (for fast food) and the selection was a nice change from the typical Disney counter-service fare.
