Maya
Grill
Service Times : Perfect

Atmosphere : Elegant and Romantic
Food : Best Meal I have ever had!
Comment : Maya Grille was such a pleasant
surprise. You don't hear much about it. We loved it! The
service was excellent - they treated us like royalty. We have a
favorite waiter - Abdul. Ask for him and you won't be sorry.
The food is sort of nuevo latino/southwestern. Very unique
dishes that you won't find anywhere..at least we haven't.
Desserts are to die for. My mom went with us once and her exact
words were, "This is the best food I've ever put in my
mouth."

Food : Cold
Comment : This was the worst and most expensive
meal we had at Disney. They mixed my Lobster Tail, Muscels, Shrimp,
Fish, Steak all up with rice in a big bowl. Then it tasted like they
pured "fish juice" over everything. I could not tell the
difference between the steak, lobster, or fish. My husband's meal was
just as bad. Cost us over $80, then we went to the Pepper Market and
had pizza. (Stick to the Pepper Market; alot better selection and a
whole lot tastier!)

Comment : We had an absolutely wonderful time
the great margarita's and the person who served us "Sandra"
new her wine list. Just tell her what flavors you look for in a wine
she'll select the perfect wine!!!! You have to ask for her. Also her
timing on the entree is fantastic, our meal was so smooth. And the
desserts I felt like I had gone to heaven!!! we'll be back

Market
Service Times : Slow

Atmosphere : Fun and Festive
Food : Good Selection
Comment : This is undoubatly the best food court
at disney. It is very bright and festive. The food was
better than you would expect. The service was slow getting you
to your table and after that they just leave without menu help.
Overall It is a good place to eat (Although a Little Loud)
Rating : 3 Stars - Enjoyed it

Comment : We were among the first guests here,
so perhaps that made everyone work harder than usual-but it is
wonderful to get kind, friendly service, and a varied selection
offered in a food "pavilion" ranging from salads, to
muffins, pizza to stir fry. My son (eight at the time) was treated
with great respect during his careful meal selection.

Meal : Breakfast
Service Times : Felt Rushed

Atmosphere : OK - nothing special
Food : Has this been sitting out all day?
Comment : Ate breakfast at around 9am or so on a
slow Thursday morning. My wife had scrambled eggs, biscuit, and
hash browns and I had the southwestern omelette with hash browns and a
muffin. My wife's scrambled eggs were runny so she didn't eat
them but she said the hash browns and biscuit were good enough for
her. I ate the omelette which ended up giving me food poisoning
and a trip to the ER later in the day (as well as many trips to the
bathroom as well for the next three days). I have been sick
before but let me tell you this is the absolute worst I have ever
felt.
I heard from a Disney employee that the Pepper Market is actually
owned and operated not by Disney but by the Springs Food Service which
Disney has been trying to get rid of them for some time now.
This Disney employee also mentioned that every time there is a
convention at Coronado Springs, they receive numerous complaints about
people getting sick from the food and even their own convenience store
can't keep up with the demand for over the counter drugs like Immodium
and Pepcid AC to counteract the effects of the bad food they serve.
So stay away from the Pepper Market!!!
