Comment : If you are a Gloria Estefan fan, I suggest going here ( she owns it ). The caribbean motif is very enjoyable with a beautiful veranda to eat out on that looks out onto all of Downtown Disney, Pleasure Island and the Marketplace. With Gloria's songs playing, it gives the place a lively vibe. It's very cool ... I highly reccomend it. Prices were reasonable too.

Cheesecake Factory at Disney Quest

Service Times : Slow

Atmosphere : OK - nothing special
Food : Average - Nothing Special
Comment : I knew not to expect much from this place. We have a Cheesecake Factory near our home and the food is overpriced and just so-so. But we were hungry and it was the 2 kids and I, and I didn't feel adventurous enough to go outside of the DisneyQuest building, so we just went to the counter service area and got some food. My son got a huge slice of pizza which he enjoyed, daughter got a hamburger and I had some veggie lasagna. The food was fine, nothing special. The people working behind the counter were not very helpful, but they were not rude.

Comment : This was by far the best food we ever ate.  Remember to order the crab claws.  Very pricy by worth every penny of it.  We eat there every time we go to Disney.  A server will come to your table after you order and offer his/her selection of wine to compliment your meal.

Comment : I'm usually in town the first week in June, I WILL GO TO THIS PLACE ANY TIME I'M IN TOWN! Great FRESH seafood. And yes I agree with some of the other reviews>> probably the best most meaty crab claws I've ever consumed. Truly a great dining experience. I never worry about prices, if you do then just don't order appetizers, drinks and dessert, and you should come out of here a very "happy camper". But I suggest go for it all>>> soup to nuts. Could be among the 5 star rated restaurants, but I wouldn't put it that classification, but believe me I will put it up there with some of the finest restaurants I've been to. But don't take my word on it, YOU DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.  Happy eating!

Comment : Yes, this place is pricey, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise; but for truly wonderful, fresh seafood, served steamed or broiled without all of the sauces and spices, this is the place to be. This is really a nice place to go if the kids are at the Neverland Club or if you left them at home. We had the Seafood Platter for 2, which included Whole Maine Lobster,Snow Crab Legs and Dungeoness Crab legs, and a choice of 2 vegetables. We choose the fresh steamed baby asparagus and a potato dish. It was all wonderful and worth every penny! My husband had the house Bloody Mary--very delicious; and I had the Mai Tai--wonderful! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely, especially if you request a window seat on the second deck! This was our 2nd trip, and we plan to return again. Our entree was around $40, and the drinks were between $6.50 and & $7.50. As a thank you for visiting them, they gave you a coupon for $5 off of each of your party's admission to Pleasure Island. Make sure to have them validate it before you leave. Enjoy:)

Comment : In our party of three we had three soda. One strawberry one chocolate and one vanilla. It was neat the way they made them. I highly suggest there four person ice cream. It looked very good. They customize sundaes and everything. I had a banana split also. The put lots of banana and whip cream and ice cream. We brought our food out side down to tables near the water at night. It was great. you could see fultons and other resturants. (Fulton's had the best shrimp ever I would give it a 5) So Ghiradellis is great. :)

Comment : House of Blues is a nice place to eat. The place we were seated was near a stage, but noone was playing at the time (it was about 5 pm on a Saturday). The atmosphere was thus fairly dark and mildly quiet. The decor was nothing too special (bas reliefs of famous blues artists on the ceiling), but was somewhat relaxing. I'm thinking the atmosphere would be quite different if someone had been playing on that stage, but I'm not so sure it wasn't just a decoration. Anyway, the food was typical America cuisine, some with a cajun emphasis. You can get a good burger here if you want, or be a little more daring too. Overall, not too bad.

Comment : This meal we had was Dinner. I feel we waited a long time in line to give our name to hostess then we got a beeper and waited some more for a table. Aprox 45 min wait total. They don't take PS'S. Spent way too much money for food too. We had the Meatloaf dinner and the kids had cheese pizza. I don't think we will come back here. Oh yeah very noisy in here also.

Comment : I was very disappointed with this restaurant. It was very overpriced, and very crowed. They practically sat us on top of another couple. I was sitting closer to an individual in the party next to us than I was to the person in my party. It made it impossible to have much of a conversation. Also the waiter was pushy trying to get us to spend more money. I ordered a chicken sandwich and he asked me if I wanted cheese on it. (of course not mentioning an extra charge) when we got the bill they had charged me for a different chicken sandwich which had cheese on it. $1.00 more! very rude.

Comment : We had to wait 3 hours for a table (why no priority seating there??) - we didn't mind though because the bartender used us for guniea pigs while making some new drinks. The only thing that made waiting almost unbearable is that with so many people waiting there were no seats to be found anywhere in the bar area. The food was ok, but you go there more for the atmosphere than the food - and the atmosphere was great!!

Comment : The food was cold. I only like cheese and bacon on my burger and they screwed that up 5 times. My friend's ribs were cold. But the drinks were good. My sister had a home alone. And I had a pretty in pink. I would only come back if it was for a nice drink. Probably won't come back. I think the shop was neat though with all the hand prints. The decorations around are really neat. Like Marylin Monroe's gloves and purse. We had a two hour  wait. We thought it would be worth it but it wasn't. The food was really yucky. On top of it our waitress was chasing her little son everywhere and didn't fill up water, coffee or specialty drinks. I hated it overall. But the drinks were good.

Comment : We walked up to the fake bouncer at 8:30 and were told the wait was 45 minutes :( Then a customer on her way out handed us a VIP pass and we strolled right in and were seated immediately. The waitress couldn't care less about us. We asked for the kid's meals to be brought right out ... they actually came AFTER the adults! Drinks were good, but we felt like we were rushed and just part of an assembly line.. move 'em in, move 'em out. I guess if you're desperate and hungry and better food and service is a 15 minute walk away.. you'll eat anywhere!

Comment : Not a restaurant, per se.  It's a jazz club that also happens to serve great food.  It's all appetizers, so you'll be doing the tapas thing!  My husband and I will order 3 or 4 and share them, making a late night supper of it.  The music is fantastic and the wine list incredible.  All the wines are described in "real people" language; one Merlot was described as "Ricardo Montelban in a velvet suit!"

Comment : Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The evening was only spoiled by the lack of attentive service. Our server was a trainee; however, the problem stemmed from a couple of "regulars" who were seated near us. Every server stopped by to hug and visit with this couple - we had to beg for our food! Our server did not offer fresh ground pepper nor grated parmesan cheese - however, it was proffered most generously to the "regulars". When we complained to our server's trainer, our server made herself scarce while she went off to pout. Ouch! Probably a wonderful restaurant - the food (when we got it) was absolutely fabulous! Be sure to save room for dessert - especially the layer cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate toffee crunch filling and warm caramel sauce - it's to die for! I would ask for a veteran server next time instead of a rookie!

Comment : Many people have commented on the service time at the Rainforest Cafe'. Once you get inside and seated, getting served does not take any longer than a normal restaurant. It can, however take in excess of 2 hours from when yo uarrive until you are seated. The good thing is that they give you an excellent estimation of your wait time. I would suggest showing up early (4-5) and planning on an evening at Downtown Disney. If your wait is long, take in some shopping around the market place. As long as you return at the time on your card, you'll be okay. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is varied and delicious. The chocolate diablo is a must for dessert.

Comment : Not quite as pricey as some Disney resturants but getting
there. The attraction is the jungle theming of the various "rooms" you are seated. We had the elephant room. Expect a long wait to be seated but the are pretty good at estimating wait times. (We took in the nearby World of Disney store to kill off time instead of standing at the entrance just staring at our watches.) Once every fifteen minutes there is a "rain storm" inside the restaurant water and all. The "animals" in each room come to life during the 2-3 minute downpour and shuffle about and make jungle sounds. Nifty the first couple of times anyway. If you don't have one near your home and plenty of time to kill go, otherwise spend you time more wisely. The service wasn't bad by theme restaurant standards but it
wasn't Disney even with the animatronics.

Comment : It was quite a wait to get into this restauturant, but we didn't have to stay and wait in the restaurant. With all that there is to do at Downtown Disney, it wasn't really a problem. We were seated at the time quoted, and our server was with us promptly. The service was very good considering that it was late in the evening. Being our first time to a Rainforest cafe, our server was very helpful in explaining the menu to us and helping us make selections. The wait for our food was long, but our server was honest with us that it might be (which was very much appreciated) and he helped us pick out a great appetizer while we waited. Every member of my family loved the meals, appetizers, specialty drinks and desserts. The atmosphere is also incredible; there is nothing else like it. I love the fact that it is inside a huge volcano. That's actually what attracted us to it in the first place. The "rainstorms" every so often are a very nice touch. This restaurant is a little more pricey than a counter service place would be, but it is definetly worth it. (Come on, you're on vacation, and this place definately makes you feel like you are!) If you have never been to a Rainforest cafe before, you really have got to go, even if you just stop by to take a peek. (You would be missing some incredible food though). We have since visited other Rainforest cafes in Las Vegas and California and have always had a good experience, but the one in Downtown Disney really is the best.

Comment : This was by far one of the worst meals i've ever had in all my trips to WDW (15 times in the last 17 years). We waited over an hour for a table. It took forever for the food to be brought to the table. When it finally came, it was cold, it tasted funny, and it was kind of nausiating. Comment : Four adults, two children. We went here for a late dinner, 7;30pm and had a good time. It has a dance floor where you can learn to line dance or just sit and watch while eating. Very upbeat and entertaining. Kids had chicken tenders with dipping sauce, I had pulled pork. VERY GOOD>>>> husband had Louisanna baby back ribs. Will do this again.

Comment : After sitting and waiting for 45 minutes for steak, they finally came back and told us that they ran out.  Waitress never came back until it was time for the check to be paid.  We will definately avoid this place the next time we go back to DisneyWorld!

Comment : This was a spur of the moment choice I made when walking thru Downtown Disney for the first time... it was an excellent choice. Service was extremely friendly, with the waitress happy to make recommendations. I had sushi, and was surprised to find it of excellent quality and taste. The pizzas (which are signature items) are also excellent choices. The Chinois salad is also a must. Although the restaurant -does- have a bit too much adoration for its namesake (pics of Puck everywhere), the food and service are first-rate, and the prices are decent for Disney -- Highly recommended!

Comment : This was our third visit to Wolfgang's restaurant. The food was excellent although the place is a little noisy. We were with a group of 8 and we thought it was just festive( we probably were a lot of the noise). The waiter knew the menu and was able to answer our questions easily. All the ingredients they use are fresh.......not a can in the place. I had the filet and it was exceptional. We tried a lot of appetizers and we enjoyed the sushi very much. It is rather pricey, but well worth the price. I would recommend you make an effort to try Wolfgang Puck's.

Comment : There were 6 of us in our party that night. The waitress was wonderful. She let us relax and enjoy ourselves. The food was very good even though my ribs came out cold within minutes the waitress was back with a new plate. The meat was just falling off of the bone. Due to the cold plate the manager gave me a free dessert. I think that the prices were reasonable...for the 6 of us the bill came to right around $200.

Food : Not much to choose from
Comment : There is not much to choose from at all! The day we went, it was mostly pizzas being made. And other than what's on the menu for the particular day that you're there, you don't have much else to choose from at all :-(
