Comment : The family-style platter of food was just the right size for our family of four. Fussy 10-year daughter liked the fresh fruit, pancakes, and Mouse Waffles but did not like the cheese-stuffed french toast wedges. Characters were friendly and sweet.

Comment : This has been converted to a character meal restaurant
featuring Cinderella. My daughter's target character to see. But give it to the cast members being gracious to dear old dad who was content to just make the photos of the rest of
the family. She insisted that I be in a picture with her too and "commanded" one of her attendants to do the photography chores. This has long been one of my favorite
restaurants even before the character dinning was started.
I always booked a seating about 4 PM for our summer vacations. You can just about set your watch for a summer downpour about that time. With that kind of seating you are out
out of the heat, rain, and, crowds for a wonderfully themed sit-down-and-rest-a-spell meal. There used to be a "secret" book you could ask to see on the ground floor behind the podium that charts the various coats of arms upstairs in
the resturant's stained glass windows. They are the family shields of Disney executives important in the design and building of Disney World. Great fun picking them out during the meal! The kidos will get a kick out of being called M' Lady or M' Lord, (My Lady/My Lord).

Comment : This was the first character meal that my family and I had ever tried (we tried another at Artist Point on this trip). We were seated very quickly after checking in at the bottom of the castle. My son (age four) and daughter (age 3) really got a kick out of being addressed as "the little prince/princess" by our host and server. Our server was extremely courteous and helpful. All of the characters (Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, & Peter Pan) came by to visit our table. Snow White had a heavy amount of lipstick on because when she gave both of my children a kiss, the lipstick stayed on their cheeks until at least late in the afternoon. The environment in the dining room is exactly what you picture from a fairy tale. I would highly recommend this meal to anyone with small children, especially if the children are a bit shy and would be intimidated by someone in a character costume that makes them look much bigger. I would recommend that you make a reservation 60 days in advance. This meal is extremely crowded and you can consider yourself very lucky if a particular character visits your table more than once.

Comment : the characters were extremely rude. Peter Pan knocked the high chair almost over in a rush to leave. I have eaten there 3 times, each time except the last magical. I do not know what happened. The food was not as good, the children's selection was not very good and I repeat the characters were terrible. We do at least 3-4 character meals each time we go to WDW (aprox 4 times per year). This rated as one of the worst 2 meals we have ever had.

Comment : Great atmosphere, get a window set if you can you look right at the merry-go-round. Even with priority seeting there is a long wait for a table. At lunch the barley soup is consitently good as is the prime rib. Fresh fruit dessert is very refreshing. Good childrens menu. Very busy somewhat noisy restaurant not a relaxing lunch but very enjoyable

Comment : The food here wasn't the best, but the atmosphere and the characters were great. My oldest daughter, who is 10 now, was there 5 years ago and still talks about the breakfast we had there. She has a picture that we took that morning up on her mirror. We also went to Chef Mickeys and it didn't compare. Don't go just for the food, though, it wasn't great.

Comment : We were truly disappointed in our meal here.  After we were seated, service was very inadequate.  The food was overcooked and basically tasteless.  A place such as this, the centerpiece of Disney, should have better food and better service.  Sadly, we will not be having dinner here again.

Comment : my Husband and i took our niece and nephew here. We had a truly magical time. the fairy godmother talked to us while we waited for our priority seating time. We had Peter pan, Belle, Snow White, and Cinderella come to our table and talk to the kids. They all took time to give hugs and sign autograph books. the breakfast was a little pricey but well worth all the memories we have. Make sure you book your reservations a few weeks before going. Comment : We were vacationing with my fiance's parents and decided to have a late dinner (8:30) at CRT.  We found the food to be wonderful!  The prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes are excellent!!!  Thanks to our booking our later meal, we were able to request a seating by the window overlooking the carousel.  Fortunately for us, at 9:30 the lights in the restaurant dimmed and music for the fireworks show was piped in.  Our view was wonderful for "Fantasy in the Sky".  After finishing dessert, we were able to leave the park without facing much of a crowd (hint hint for disney vacation goers!! :) ).  Our server was kind enough to take a picture of all four of us by the stained glass window too.  It was definately an evening we won't forget!

Comment : I have heard many mixed reviews of this restaurant and they are all wrong. My husband and I go to Disney every Fall and we eat here. We enjoy it more and more each time. The chicken ceasar salad is to die for. We love the sculpted butter. It is always hard to cut Mickey Mouse up, but what are you supposed to do. I always get a pasta dish, and they know the meaning of the word al dente. I hate overcooked pasta. This place is a must for those who love elegance and romance. If you wait for a table by the window, Fantasyland is there to enjoy. I recommend priority seating. It's hard to get a table otherwise. They call you lord and lady. Cute! All should attend.

Comment : This breakfast experience is so inconsistent for us! We have been to breakfast here a total of four times. This last visit ws less than magical for us grownups. Im sure my daughter didnt notice! Service was slow. Our waitress never asked my husband if he wanted seconds, didnt refill our drinks. My daughter didnt like her pancakes. It was obvious that they were untouched and our server never inquired about it. My daughter ended up eating my meal. She dissappeared and we had to wait a very long time for the check and for change!
There were only three characters in attendance. Quite a difference from past visits where there were numerous characters walking around.
We will continue to return here because my 5 year old daughter loves it so much. This visit didnt live up to my expectations because in the past I have had a wonderful experience at this breakfast and was expecting it to be as good this time.

Comment : We took the first seating.  With a small child (3) this was a smart move.  The food was suprisingly very good.  I had thought there would be a tradeoff for the "presentation".  Not so.
All of the characters were WONDERFUL.  My son shyed away from Aladin as he did not know the character yet.  Aladin was great, he didn't push it and backed right off.  We were really impressed with how the characters can read the situation.  Our favorite was Cinderella.  She was perfect.  My son still smiles at the picture we have of her planting a kiss on his cheek.  I would repeat on this one again!

Comment : This is the place to eat at the Magic Kingdom.  Not because there is an extensive menu or because the service is outstanding, it;s because of atmosphere and lack of people.  For some reason the Harbour House seems to take in the smallest crowds in the park.  The interior is beautiful, nautical themed; all wood.  The Chicken Fingers are the best anywhere and the Clam chowder in a bread bowl is great!  If you can, see if the upstairs area is open, it's really cool up there.  A late will find the place empty.  Prices are pretty good.  Highly recommended.

Comment : We were visiting in early March, as the park closes at 7pm everyone pretty much leaves at the same time. We stopped by the Palace and they told us they could still seat us. The restaurant was uncrowded and the characters visited us three times! We realized we were out of film and our waitress volunteered to go purchase some (it appeared on our tab). Comment : The first time we made reservations here was for 8 people for the last seating of breakfast. we arrived about 20min prior and they told us we would be seating about our reservation time. We patiently waited until we were 20 min past our time they kept saying they were waiting for a large table. We tried to be patient. Finally 1 1/2 past our time we were seated in 2 separate tables with 2 separate waitress's. I guess we could have had this arrangement much earlier. We were disappointed that shortly after we arrived they started to change over to lunch menu food. My children wanted french toast and they were not happy that they had to get us more. We left very disappointed. We did deceide to give it another try but this time we arranged to have the first seating at lunch. we arrived and were seated within minutes. The food was hot and fresh and the character were plentiful. We had a wonderful experience. My husband asked if they had a sugar free desert and they came out with a beautiful cheese cake and fruit platter. We are going back again this year. Always give a second chance everyone has a bad day once in a while.

Comment : If your are looking for a perfect end to your evening at Magic Kingdom, try this. Make reservations for about 7:30-7:45. Gives you plenty of time to eat a great buffet for adults and kids alike. The Disney characters from Winnie the Pooh were warm and receptive. After your delicious sweets stroll out to the side of the restaraunt and avoid the busy main street and watch Tinkerbell and the great fireworks display. The Prime Rib and chicken and rice dinners were awesome. My wife and I thought as we were eating that too bad this dream of a vacation will end and back to hamburger helper when we went back to Wisconsin!! Try it out.

Comment : Character meal, (we had the breakfast), with Pooh, Tigger,
and Eeyore. This is way pricey for breakfast. Tigger and Eeyore rotate around to the tables and Pooh takes up a stationary position so that you visit him when you are ready. Actually my daughter preferred meeting Pooh on her own time and terms. She complained that she couldn't enjoy her meal for the
anticipation of when the characters would visit her. I know the idea is to give you special and undivided
character attention without fighting a crowd but leave it to the kiddo at the next table over turned around in his seat grabbing at the character on "your" time or worst yet the out-of-control kiddos that follow the character around the resturant from table-to-table. A character wrangler really needs to step in and gently deflect the offending tykes. (This kind of abuse I can get in the
park without the over priced meal.)

Comment : I really liked this place. I've been there twice, and they've both been great times. For dinner, it's boufet style, and some of the things on the main boufet are a little.....hmm...let's say different then what you would normally eat, but it's delish! Also there's a little kiddie boufet for the kids. Actually anyone can eat off of it. (if you don't feel like eating fancy)
There's an awesome selection of deserts there, and there's also a place where you can fix your own icecream if you want.  As to the atmosphere, well you just have to go there! It's really elegant (not like black tie evening wear elegant, but in it's own way it is elegant) and usually the Winnie the Pooh characters are there to pat you on the head while you eat (lol)
So all in all, I say it's a great place to eat after a long, hot, hard day of walking around for hours.

Comment : The only negative thing I can say is that it took a REALLY long time to be seated with PS. The food was great. Our waiter was great. The characters were fun, especially Tigger. We will definitely do this one again. I think we will just get a later PS. Our time was 8:05 and there is a rush after they open the gates to get to this restaurant. You line up and give your name.  Unless you are one of the first in line you will have a considerable wait. OUr wait was 45 minutes.

fresh fruit and when I came back to my table my husband said you just missed Tigger and I thought
oh great, but he said he told Tigger that I just left the table and I was really looking forward to
seeing him and he said Tigger turned around and put his hand over his eyes like he was looking
for me (pretty funny) so then he asked Tigger if he would come back in a little while and he shook
his head yes and not too long after we were done Tigger came back and one of the staff took our
picture together with Tigger.  Great experience!!!

Comment : We had a large group and this was one of the most relaxing meals of our vacation.  The food was good and the kids had a blast while the adults of our party kicked back and enjoyed a relaxing meal.  I also loved the decor.  This was the first character meal I had done and I thought it would be wild and on the edge of out of control but I was pleasantly surprised.  I would definitely recommend it.  The kids loved seeing Pooh and Tigger and want to go back.

Comment : We were very fortunate to eat at this restaurant for the breakfast.  We booked the evening before!  Although the cost is pricey, the food is excellent.  One must remember it is a buffet style restaurant so you can eat all you want.  We celebrated our daughter's 16th birthday and the staff were excellent in making her feel special.  They served her a cupcake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to her.  She was embarrassed though she loved it! We had a group of 10 people and the staff went out of their way to make sure we sat together.  Our waitress always made sure our beverages were filled and we never once felt rushed.  We were able to take excellent pictures of the characters with the children.  Reading the negative comments about this restaurant makes me chuckle.  It is obvious nothing short of breakfast in bed would please those people.  WE LOVED THIS RESTAURANT and have recommended it to anyone going to Disney World.  We will definitely go there again in the future.  This time we will book priority seating much earlier and we will book for other meals other than breakfast.  Way to go Magic Kingdom!  All the restaurants on the resort should be as good.

Comment : We had a very enjoyable breakfast at Crystal Palace on Dec.12,2000. The buffet choices were excellent. If you like sweet stuff, try the breakfast lasagna and you wont be dissappointed. There really was something for everybody at this buffet.
The character interaction was good. The restaurant was not crowded at all so it was a more relaxed atmosphere.
I had stayed away from this restaurant on my previous three trips due to some negative reviews. What a mistake. This is a must-do for us from now on!

Comment : We had the first lunch seating.  Other than a LONG wait to get in, this was a great meal.  My son really loves Pooh and his friends.  Getting to meet them was the icing on the cake.
A bright, wide open setting enabled us to see the characters as they drew closer to our table.  Everyone was very helpful with offering to take family photos for us.  A definite repeat on our next trip.

Comment : A good breakfast buffet. The omelets were wonderful, and the eggs & peppers dish (I don't remember what it's called was extremely tasty. Above average waffles, French toast, and a good selection of fruits and breads. The service was great--each time I took my last sip of coffee or juice the waiter was right there with a refill. Of all the character meals we've been to in our last 3 trips to Disney, this one is the best.

Comment : This is definitely my favorite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World! My family goes to Walt Disney World every year in January or February, and we always visit this restaurant more than once each trip. After we leave our favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, we always eat at El Pirate E El Pireco. It is mexican-type restaurant with excellent food. They have the BEST hot dogs, and wondeful chili. There are all kinds of other dishes you can order, but those are my two favorite. The workers are dressed in pirate suits, and the whole restaurant reminds you of some kind of pirate cove or something. One other really cool thing there is that birds sometimes fly around you, and you can freely feed them if you want, which is great for kids and adults. This is just a great fast food restaurant with a lot more to it than you would think. I really recommend it to everyone!

Comment : This is one of the better restaurants at Disney, especially if you like to see the characters!! The food is very good but they bring pre-selected food to your table, so if you don't like mashed potatoas, turkey, mac and cheese, or steak then this wouldn't be your place! But like I said, what they do bring is delicous!! OH, be sure to make your reservations ahead of time, even if it's only a half an hour ahead of time, because it could save you a half an hour of waiting!!

Comment : We just fell into this one. We have been going to Disney for 12 years and never tried this restaurant until we saw the big sign out side last year promoting the character dinners. We made dinner for 5pm so we would not be in a crowd. We had the restaurant to our selves as were the characters. My children who are getting older (8 & 10) loved the attention. Food was great and lots to eat. Family style is nice that you never have to leave your seat. Note desert is extra unlike the buffets which include desert. We already have reservations to go back again this year.

Comment : Great character dinner. Dinner was served family style. Everything from the salad to the dessert was outstanding. Best bread I had in Disney..ever. Characters are very interactive and atmosphere is great. If you have young kids do not miss this one. The price was unusually low for the quality and the atmoshpere. $60.00 with tip. Meat was great roast and turkey, vegetable was mixed but very good all seved on heavy steel platters.

Comment : We weren't planning on eating here we just sort of fell on it. There was a lady out front announcing a character dinner. The price was $20 or so for adults. We got so much food, and it was brought to us family style (on platters, and we serve ourselves). The food was awsome (garlic mashed potatoes, squash, chicken, steak, veggies). We didn't feel rushed at all. The characters came over and visited with us - Chip & Dale, Minnie, Mickey and Pluto. We are unsure if characters are there every nite or not but you could probably call to find out. It was great. We will definately go there again!!!!

Comment : I must say, we were not expecting much from this meal. We heard it was like thanksgiving dinner, and that the wait was really long. Dad, Grandma and the kids rated this as their favorite meal of the entire trip. It is like a huge thanksgiving spread, but the food was delicious! They bring you salad and bread first, and maybe soup (I cannot remember). This salad was so fresh and crisp! The bread we all devoured immediately! The characters came by several times, sat with us, played little games with the kids, spent quite a bit of quality time with us. They were all great, with the kids and the adults! They bring you out food family style - it is all you can eat, but you don't have to get up. They bring out platters with meats (turkey, ham, beef) and mashed potatoes, stuffing (which was wonderful!), macaroni and cheese and some sort of vegetable that none of us ate! We are not big on cooked veggies. This turkey was the moistest turkey I have ever had. I dont eat much meat, but I had to try the turkey. Everyone ate quite a bit here and enjoyed it alot. The restaurant is decorated in Old America style. We were in the Betsy Ross room, and there were old looking flags on the walls, a loom, some neat things to look at. We enjoyed the dessert here, too. It is the only thing that is not included in your bill. We got a couple things and we all shared. Carrot Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Shortcake and a chocolate cake thing. All of it was yummy! We were so happy that we tried Liberty Tree!

Comment : The lunch here is not a character meal. We arrived at noon and had to wait about twenty minutes to be seated. The kids each had chicken pieces, fries, a drink and dessert for $5 each. My husband and I split the pot roast because we had heard the portions were large. We shared an appetizer of crab cakes that were delicate and not too heavy. When our meal arrived, the waitress had divided our meal on two plates that were each a full serving. Neither of us could finish our shared portion!

Comment : Since we were at the Kingdom since 7:30 in the morning, we ate lunch at 10:10, so it was quite empty.  We both had double hamburgers and fries.  I like the way that you had a nice and LARGE area to get toppings for your burger (tomato, lettuce, relish, pickles and even hot sauteed onions!) some other places in WDW are a little more crowded.  The dining rooms were nicely themed, cool and clean, with the restrooms large and inside the building close to tables (a bonus if you have kids!!).  Altough a little pricy for just burger and fries (oh..I forgot, this IS WDW...haha) the quality of food was quite good. A nice place to have a quick bite after waiting in line at Splash Mountain /Big Thunder RR.

Sauteed mushrooms and onions, cheese sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.  We all loved it.  Good size portions too.  Food for 2 adults and 3 kids (although one child ate an adult meal) cost about $35.  NOt too bad.  So good we ate here again on our final day in Disneyworld.  YUMMY!

Comment : The sticky buns at this place are worth the trip here!! We ate our breakfast here during a Surprise Early Entry Day, so they were very busy. I had the Italian Toast with bacon, which was very good-$5.50 without bacon,$6.50 with bacon, ham or sausage. My husband had the 2 Eggs Custom Breakfast with his eggs served over easy and ham. His eggs were perfectly cooked and the ham was delicious-$5.95 without ham, $6.95 with ham, sausage or bacon. My daughter had the children's waffles(can't remember which character she had, but I think it was Mickey) which included her beverage for $4.25. She said the waffles were very good. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. One word to the wise: If you have a party that has split up to go to different attractions at MK, please be sure to have them all together before going up to the hostess to be seated. Policy at this restaurant states that all members of the party must be present before they will seat you. This happened to several parties while we were there, and a couple ended up loosing their priority seating as they will only hold your table for 15 minutes.Unfortunately, this was not explained by the hostess in charge of seating in a very "Disneylike" manner. Needless to say, there were some very unhappy guests that morning. The average rating on courtesy is due to the manner in which the hostess handled herself, not due to the server, who was wonderful.
