Comment : Only 6 tables of guests for the Tigger, Pooh, and EE-OR Family-style plates were just the right size for our family of 4. 10-year old daughter liked the fresh fruit but did not like the stuffed french toast wedges.

Comment : This character breakfast was great. The food is brought to you family style, instead of you having to go up to a buffet table, which is nice. They bring you a variety of breads, first, which we loved. Juices, coffee, milk are also served. The meal is regular breakfast foods; bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast, those sorts of things. The nice part is that they bring you more of whatever you want. You can just sit and relax. The characters there come around often and spend quality time with you. The characters were Winnie the Pooh and gang. Tigger and Eeyore spent at least 10 minutes coloring with my kids. This was our last meal before heading to the airport to fly home. It was a great way to end our vacation! Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous!

Comment : This was my second character meal and Cinderella's Royal Table was definitely more enjoyable although I'm happy that I went to this one, too. There were few people at the restaraunt when we arrived and the characters came by the table more than once. Winnie the Pooh was very good with my children (ages 3 & 4). Once he even came over and danced with the children. However, if I ever go back for this character meal, I hope someone else is playing Tigger. Tigger basically would show up to have his picture taken with the children and than he would turn around and leave and you probably wouldn't see him for about 10-15 minutes despite the fact that there were very few people in the restaraunt. The food was very good but I wasn't very crazy about the multi-grain pancakes.

Comment : Had PS for the character breakfast for 10:30 they did not seat us until 11:00 a.m.  We were a large party of 20.  The later seating worked out better beause the restaurant was empty and the characters lingered longer at our table interacting with the children.

Comment : We had so much fun taking pictures with Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore.  We were lucky to get a window seat, and we enjoyed our breakfast (did I mention ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT, and brought personally at your table?)
looking at the nice wilderness scenic, and cheered by Pooh and friends!  Yet, it didn't cost us a DIME!  Why? Because we stayed at the Disney resort, and we used it as our "flex feature".  For those of you who are staying at Disney, using the character breakfast as the flex feature you choose could be better than getting a picture frame, or a free rental for a boat.  You also get a smoothie when you go!

Comment : We went in December 2000 with our entire extended family (10 of us).  Our server was genuinely kind and attentive and we were served very quickly.  The food was FANTASTIC, especially the little pancakes.  The characters (Pooh, Tigger & Eeyore) gave individual attention to each of us and our 4 year old son was entranced.  PLEASE EAT HERE IF YOU CAN!!!!

Comment : We had this breakfast on our first full day at disney world. It was a great way to start our trip. The service was spectacular and actually the best we had the whole time. They came to our table every 5 minutes or so and scanned to make sure we were not low on anything. The characters here were the best. They were the Pooh gang. They seemed to be so friendly and spent a lot of time with everyone. They signed autographs and took the time to be in photos with everyone in our group. They were outstanding. The food was very good too. They bring it out to you and you can get as many refills on anything as you want. We had 2 small kids and it was very nice not to have to get up and go get in line for a buffet. We had the best time at this character breakfast.

Comment : We had the last seating of the morning for the character breakfast.  I know that the characters(Pooh,Tigger, and Eeyore) probably had to stay overtime to accommodate our table, but you would never have known it!!!  They spent a great deal of time with us,coming back 2 or 3 times.  The food is served family style, and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pancakes, all you can eat!!!  Coffee drinks are available, and are delicious; served with a swizzle stick of rock candy to sweeten and stir.  If you like your eggs scrambled less hard, request them that way, as they are usually served hard.  We requested them medium and had no problem with the special request.  I don't like scrambled eggs as a rule, but these were delicious!!!  You have to try the hash browns!!  There are none like these anywhere around--Fantastic!!  Our server was wonderful.  Very accommodating and friendly, going the extra mile for us.  We really had a wonderful experience, and recommend this character breakfast, as it is quiet, and off the beaten path!!!

Comment : Another one of my "don't miss" restaurants.  The menu is wonderful with a good variety.  They offer "wine samplers" which offer three small glasses of wine from a particular region or a winery.  A wonderful way to sample several wines in an elegant location.

Comment : My husband and I went on our honeymoon and had the best dinner of our vacatoin here.  We both had the buffalo steaks, and the server suggested an excellent wine to compliment our meal.  Everything was fantastic.  They seated us in a quiet corner where we could see the water parade on the lake.  After our dinner, we walked around the resort- truly a magical experience

Comment : My hubby and I were tired, so we decided on ordering dinner in the room. We thought that we would have to spend a lot...we were surprised!

They have a special feature for chicken dinners - 8 or 12 pieces (fried or rotisserie) with fries and bisquits, which (for WDW) is at a resonable price.  We had 8 pieces (more than we two could eat) added a side crock of cole slaw, and even WITH TIP and delivery charge it was under $20.  Now, a family of four (2 small kids) or a a family of 3 (one older kid) could have easily been fed on all of this.  It was hot, delicious and delivered with 20 mins of calling (I barely had time to go down and fill up our refillable mugs with soda before they came!).  Best of all, quiet, nice and relaxing after a long day at the parks...families staying there might keep this in mind for those evenings when the little ones are hungry and cranky and don't want to wait or are not ready for dining "with others", but you don't want things just from the snack bar.  Couples might enjoy a little "in room" dining after a long day..it was actually (believe it or not) one of the BEST dinners we had, figuring in costs, quality and convience.

Comment : You will fid a great selection of snacks, hot foods, and drinks at a very reasonable price compared to the theme park and other restaurants. We found that the refillable mug purchase was well worth it!!! You can even bring them back the next time you stay there to use. An excellent idea for the cost watching consumer!

Comment : Was surprised at 9 year old boy's reaction: He didn't appreciate the shennanigans, want to just sit down and eat. Food is prepared ahead and ready for you when you want it. If child doesn't like adult food, it's quick to receive a child's plate. Food didn't taste like it was sitting out either.

Comment : This is a wonderful place to eat and join in the fun. This isn't a place for a quiet meal. I went and ate by myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. They told jokes, bantered back and forth and made sure everyone was having a good time. I don't remember what I ate, but I remember on not being able to decide because everything looked good. If you come, be a sport and join in the festivities.

Comment : I had the breakfast "buffet" at this resturant. It was really a huge platter of eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes and lots of other breakfest foods!
This price was a little higher than that of a food court, but it was well worth the money. Besides the food being very good, with plenty to choose from, there was a festive atmosphere with singing waiters.
In my opinion it was MUCH MUCH better than other places that I have eaten at Disney.
I highly recommend it!

There was even a stick horse race around the eating area with the small children of customers. The smiles and laughs were worth a million!

Comment : This was a family style restaurant that was wonderful and fun for the kids. Our waiter was a funny guy with a great personality. We had dinner here and it was all you can eat. They bring more to you table as you need. We had turkey legs, barbecued ribs, rotisserie chicken, corn-on-the cob, potatoes and much more. The kids had chicken fingers with fries. We will return here on our next trip!

Comment : The atmosphere is crazy!!! If you're looking for a good time, hit this joint up. I myself am a picky eater, but at this place I couldn't seem to put my fork down.  Everything was delicious and the service was incredible and fun.  Every year my family and I go to Walt Disney World and every year we make reservations for this place.  It's well worth the wait and money!!!

Comment : Since we stayed at the lodge, we had a good chance to eat here, we had two breakfasts and one dinner.

Breakfast - My hubby ordered the french toast, he thought was great, and I had the skillet.  The second time we both had the skillet.  We both loved the hash brown rounds (o.k. they are just like the ones at Burger King, but hotter and fresher...) and the little slices of breakfast breads are really good!  My only complaint is that you can only get your eggs scrambled (but DONT'T ask for ketchup!!).  Everything else is quite good and hot.

Dinner - Rather noisy, but nice.  We both had the skillet bar-b-que, very good.  The beef brisket was some of the best I had eaten, although the ribs are dry rub, not sauced which I am not crazy about.  They also serve a turkey drumstick..this I ate entirely..yummy!!  Much better that when you get them in parks.  Just keep asking for the meats/sides you want, they will bring more  quickly.  Our waitress was from the same area of Philly my hubby was from, that was nice, she ured by hiccups!  By the way, if you like them, get one of their "special" margaritas of the day - good!!  I won't tell all of the things that happened to keep you in suspense in case you go, but I will tell you that a magical moment happened that I wish I had a camera..I suggest taking them just in case!

Comment : Do you like loud, raucous crazy meals with kids running around the dining room with wooden broom horses? If the answer is yes, this is the restaurant for you!!! I had the smoked ribs, an absolutely HUGE portion, could easily be split with another person in your party. The ribs are tasty, but I found them to be too much on the spicy side. My husband had the herbed chicken dish. I tasted it, and wished I had ordered that. The ribs were about$18.95 and the chicken was about $15.95. My daughter had the macaroni and cheese, which she said was good but, by the time it was served, she had fallen asleep at the table. She didn't even get to run around the dining room with her horse. The kitchen seemed to be slow that night, and the wait for a table with priority seating was an hour. Our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu, but sometimes took the humor a little too far and made some of the people at our table a little uncomfortable. Oh, and BTW, don't ask for KETCHUP;-) The kids do like this restaurant, because of all of the activity, so it would probably be a fun place for them.

Comment : Ate there twice during this trip, once for lunch and once for dinner. Even being an older couple we enjoyed the festive atmosphere of the resturant. From the "picking" on guest to the children and adult horse races. The helpfulness of the Cast Members were outstanding. They will do anything to make you meal a sucess such as giving you a lunch menu at dinner, to making sure everything is just right.
