Comment : This is located right off the Great Ceremonial House. It is a great place to go right after you have been on the beach or swimming. Its fast counter service, and they have tables there or you can take it back to your room. The hoghlight for kids is the "Make your own ice cream sundae" bar!

Comment : We have been to Disney 4 times. Every time, we stayed at the Polynesian. The first place we eat every time is the Coral Isle Cafe. It is on the second floor of The Great Ceremonial House, and the cascading waterfall is right outside the door. It is the perfect palce to eat if you want to relax and have great food!

Comment : How excited were we to find this new gem at the Poly! We had breakfast and lunch here on our last visit and loved both. For breakfast, they still serve the Tonga Toast which is not to be missed. At lunch, the dishes are beautifully presented, delecious and plentiful. Don't forget to check out the desserts!

Comment : Our waiter recommended the Beef Teriyaki and the Ohpa(fish) and both entrees were awesome!! For dessert I had the KoKo Puffs which were OK. Waiter recommended the Kilauea Torte. Absolutely the best. We all had a taste and then ordered two more of them. Great staff, great service, lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

Luau

Service Times : Extremely Slow

Atmosphere : Tacky
Food : Has this been sitting out all day?
Comment : We HATED this whole experience.  The shows were shorter than the intermissions.  The food was horrible!  We will never do this again

Comment : The Luau dissapointed us our last visit.  The food selection was dismal and it was very dry.  While the show was ok, i remember it being a little more upbeat and silly.  I hope Disney realizes their mistake and go back to the way it was done before.  Skip it.

Minnie's Character Breakfast at O'Hana's

Service Times : Perfect

Atmosphere : Fun and Festive

Comment : In our opinion, this was the best character breakfast there is! Every time we go to Disney, we go to this breakfast! The food is sit down, not buffet, which is nice. Minnie, Pluto, Chip, and dale all come around to your table, each dressed in Hawaiian clothes. The service is great and the food is wonderfull. Highly recommended!!

Comment : This was our first meal at WDW and it was fun. They opened with the kids and a "noise parade" - just what it sounds like, but then everyone settled down. The characters came to each table to visit and spent a fair amount of time. I liked the fact that food was brought out to our table rather than buffet; then served family style and refilled as you wanted. The pineapple bread was terrific! I'll definitely go back.

Comment : I enjoyed the sweet bread, salad, vegetable spring rolls and the noodles and stir fry vegetables.  I couldn't eat any of the meat.  I can't put my finger on it, but it all had a very odd taste to me.  I don't eat seafood, but the others with me said it was good.  The pineapple dessert was sickeningly sweet.
It was a good thing it was all you can eat, so I didn't go away hungry, but considering I had to make a meal on the side dishes, I don't think I will go back here again.

Comment : I've been to Ohana twice in the last 12 months, most recently in November.  On both visits we received good to very good service.  I enjoy salmon, steak, sausage, noodles, and stir fry, so the food is some of my favorite.  Ask for a seat near the windows facing the Magic Kingdom and if you time it properly, you can watch the fireworks.  There were games for the children to play and even some fun for us on our first visit.

Comment : Food was great, (for the parents) atmosphere was fun and the kids loved the interactive games, the firepit and the theme - but the kids found the food too unusual for their tastes.  If I went again I would ask about a kid's menu or plate - for $9.95 my daughter basically ate some pineapple.

Comment : Food was really good.  They bring you an individual "wok", with eggs, ham, sausages and a much more good things to eat in it.  You'll get a bowl of delicious fresh fruits.  And while you eat, Chip, Dale, Minnie and Goofy are fooling around, stopping by each table!  Really good way to begin your vacation at Disney!

Comment : Ohanas has to be one of the best(if not the best)restaurants in Disney World.  We hadn't even made priority seating until that day.  Since it was the first week in August I thought we'd have to wait a long time, but we were seated within 5 minutes.  We had a table right near the windows with a view of Cindrella's Castle.  Our waiter was very nice.  He brought out some appetizers which were very good.  Then he brought out more food.  Then he brought out steak and shrimp.  It was delicious and we could eat as much as we wanted.  The food was very filling too.  They had races for the little kids to get involved in.  It was a lot of fun to watch.  For dessert we each got a bowl of coconut ice cream with shaved coconut on top.  It was the best ice cream (and possibly dessert) I've ever had.  I recommend this place to everyone!

Comment : What can I say? This was one of the best dining experiences I had in "The World"!! We had priority seating for 7 at 5:oopm, before going to the Very,Merry Christmas Party, so the Magic Kingdom closed at 6:00 pm that night. We were seated at a corner table surrounded on 2 sides by windows. We had THE perfect view of the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks!!! They piped in the music and lowered the lights for the event. Spectacular:) Now, to the food--Excellent. It is served family style on a lazy Susan type apparatus in the center of the table. A variety of appetizers are placed there, and it is all you can eat. Some of the appetizers include salad, pineapple chutney, sweet and sour chicken wings, fried chicken wings, and much more. The main course is teriyaki grilled steak, pork and turkey, served from the skewers it was cooked on directly to your plate. As much as you want. Absolutely mouth watering!!! There are activities for the kids, including the coconut race and the hula hoop contest. These were really cute to watch, and the kids enjoyed them. The menu is the same for the kids, but at about 1/2 the price. My daughter did not really eat enough to make it worth while, but that could have been because she was too excited to get to the Very,Merry Christmas Party to really enjoy her dinner. I think next time, my husband and I might enjoy this one alone, while she enjoys the the Neverland Club-a huge hit with her. The meals run about $22.00 per person. Also try some of the tropical drinks. My husband's favorite is the Backscratcher, which comes with a back scratcher in the drink, and my favorite was the one with Banana liquor--so sinful, I can't even remember the name -these range from $6.25-. When you call to make your reservations, inquire as to what time the the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom will be shown and plan your dinner around that time.
